independence day poem
independence day poem: The independence day poems are written by my writers and many peoples who have a hobby to write anything. This is also the way of expresses the feeling to the other person through the peom.
These are the different peoms written by the different authors:
“Is their aught you need that my hands withhold,
Rich gifts of raiment gold?
Lo! I have thrown to the East and the West
Priceless treasures ripped from my heart,
And allowed the sons of my stricken womb
To the drum-beats of the duty, the sabers of doom…..”
The Gift of India
Happy Independence Day !!!
“Not where the musk of happiness blows,
Not where darkness and fears never tread;
Not in the homes of perpetual smiles,
Nor in the heaven of a land of prosperity
Would I be born
If I must put on mortal garb once more…”
– by P.Yogananda Tagore
Our’s is a land of sages,
Known for courage for ages.
None can with it compete,
Its culture none can beat.
Whatever caste or religion,
All live here in unison.
With rivers, sweet fountains,
it’s a land of high mountains.
Its green forests are pretty,
And are a source of prosperity.
Let’s for its work hard,
For its safety, be on guard
